Περιγραφή Μαθήματος

This course provides a set of fundamental concepts for
understanding Data Networks, the Internet, the Bluetooth Networks and getting
familiar with the most recent network concepts such as the Internet of Things (IoT),
the WiFi6 Wireless Networks and the 5G Networks. Course topics:

• Data Networks and the Interneτ (Local Area Networks (LANs) - What is the Internet? Packet switching and ISP = Internet architecture and layers - Τnternet Traceroute - Internet applications and services)
• The structure and organization of the Interneτ of Things (IoT)
• Familiarization with the emerging WiFi6 and 5G Networks
