Περιγραφή Μαθήματος:

Στο μάθημα αυτό εξετάζονται οι δυναμικές της οργάνωσης του χώρου όπως εφαρμόζονται στο τομέα των Γραφιστικών Εφαρμογών που είναι ο σχεδιασμός εντύπων, βιβλίων, περιοδικών, αφισών και άλλων μέσων οπτικής επικοινωνίας. Εξετάζονται επίσης η τυπογραφία, τα σύμβολα γραφιστικής, οι εικόνες και ο τρόπος με τον οποίον εφαρμόζονται σε διαφορετικά έντυπα. Παράλληλα ερευνάται ο τρόπος με τον οποίο χρησιμοποιούνται όλες οι παραπάνω εφαρμογές ως μέσο προώθησης κοινωνικών και πολιτικών ιδεών, καθώς και για διαφημιστικούς σκοπούς. Στο μάθημα αυτό δίνεται η δυνατότητα στους σπουδαστές να εξελίξουν τις σχεδιαστικές τους ικανότητες και να τις εφαρμόσουν σε νέες ιδέες. 

Μαθησιακοί στόχοι:
Στόχος του μαθήματος είναι να εισάγει τους σπουδαστές στις βασικές αρχές, τεχνικές και υλικά της Γραφιστικής και να τους δώσει τη δυνατότητα να αναπτύξουν τις ιδέες, τις ικανότητες και την δημιουργικότητά τους 

Διαδικασία εξέτασης:
Δίνονται ασκήσεις οι οποίες κατά τη διάρκεια των μαθημάτων αξιολογούνται και διορθώνονται ξεχωριστά και στο τέλος του εξαμήνου παρουσιάζονται όλες για τελική αξιολόγηση. 

Course Description:
This course is an introduction to graphic design. It presents the principles, the tools, the techniques and the dynamics of spatial organization as applied to graphic communication, i.e. the design of logos, brochures, folders, books, magazines and other visual formats, including video and slide presentations. It also examines typography, graphic symbols, images and their use in specific formats. At the same time, the course introduces the students to the ways in which these tools and techniques can be used to promote an idea or a product. The course offers students opportunities to develop their designing abilities and to apply them in the implementation of new ideas. 

Learning outcomes:
The aim of this course is to introduce the students to the principles, the tools and the techniques of the Examination:
Certain exercises are given which are developed during the course and at the end of the semester they are presented for the final evaluation. raghic Design and to give the opportunity to develop their ideas and creativity
