You are invited to first register for an Introductory Course where you briefly learn about the key terms and concepts in the fields of e-privacy and cybersecurity. This Introductory (short) course provides basic knowledge for those who are curious about e-privacy and cybersecurity, and who want to be literate in the field. If you successfully complete the 2 short units of the Introductory Course, you can apply to enroll in the main course on "e-Privacy and Cybersecurity: Technology and Policy issues" (4 units - 4 weeks).

#2 Register to the Introductory Course? Use your UAegean LinkedID!

The registration to the Course needs to set up an MS Teams account.

The University of the Aegean provides seamless access to MS Teams application (no need to create a Microsoft account) via Verifiable Credentials.

1. Identify with yourLinkedID|UAegean to enter the service: I want to use myLinkedID|UAegean now!

(*) In the case, you don't have such a Credential, the above link will direct you to issue one! Of course, if you are new to UAegean, you can launch here the process of issue a UAegean|myLinkedID

2. After successful identification, you will be redirected in a form where you must enter your personal email

3. Then, you log in to the Course Online Environment (MS Teams), no need to have an account with Microsoft. You have already been authenticated with yourID|UAegean. You need only to keep in memory, and insert in the forms illustrated below, two identifiers: a) the Organization name hosting the Course Online Environment: i4mlabuaegean.onmicrosoft.com and, b) the Organization's email: go@esmo-gateway.gr

To obtain a UAegean myLinkedID Credential, which links the attributes of your eIDAS eID with the academic attributes provided by your University (via eduGAIN), please follow the steps below to issue one:

1. Download the uPort ID wallet on your mobile phone:

2. Create a UAegean myLinkedID Credential by linking together the attributes of your eIDAS eID with the academic attributes obtained via eduGAIN (via the SEAL platform)

I want to issue now myLinkedID | UAegean

3. You do this process once, then store yourLinkedID|UAegean Credential on your uPort ID wallet to use it in the future, every time a UAegean service prompts you a QR code for authentication!
